I was born and raised in the central district of Ordu and completed all my education there. My interest in music began during elementary school, but my formal training started in high school. During high school, I began studying bağlama and developed myself in the field of folk music by singing folk songs.

My first degree at university was in Preschool Education. While studying there, my musical life actively continued. In addition to bağlama training, I joined Turkish folk music choirs.

While still studying at the Faculty of Education, I applied for the talent exam on a trial basis and achieved first place. After this success, my interest in music grew even further. One year after graduating from Preschool Education, I took the talent exam again and enrolled in the Turkish Music Department as the top-ranked student.

In addition to my work in Turkish folk music, I continue to actively participate in the Ordu University MSSF polyphonic choir.
